Pacman

Recently, I bought an original Pacman arcade machine for around $200. The case is not bad, but it’s bad enough that it needs restoration. Since this machine is outside in my garage, which is colder than my freezer, all the electronics had to be removed from these extreme temperatures to prevent further damage (Most of the components a rusty).

I cleaned the motherboard a bit, reqired some stuff, and set it up on the floor in my basement. The game works, but the screen is covered with dots vertical lines and dots. I will put some more pics up when I get the chance.

**PS: According to the manual, the plural form of Pacman is Packmen… Cool.

Thanks Microsoft!

I got my frist Xbox 360 Pro 11/9/06…three long and fun years ago.

To my dismay, my console got an E74 error (much like the RROD) and I had to cough up $300 for an Elite. Conviently my warranty of three years ended just a few months prior.

My brother, DaveryPocket, was able to successfully fix the E74 error and now I have two Xbox’s.

I was wanting a new Xbox primarily because of the 120GB HDD. After getting 7200MS points for XMAS I plan on buying Games on Demand from the marketplace…my old 20GB would not have enough room.

I just bought NFS: Most Wanted and that alone was 6GBs.

Sorry I haz not been posting lately, a little busy.

DaveyPocket and I recently purchased a Pac-Man arcade (the real thing, cabnet in all) and we will have a story on that shotely.

GAME OF THE YEAR 2009

Console:
Batman Arkham Asylum (PS3/360)

In the vain of the first good “movie based game” X-men Origins, Batman AA came out and kicked everyone’s ass and combined The Metal Gear style Sneaking, The action of God of War and a DAMN GOOD story that can be loosely said as a Dark Knight Squeal! Even if you have not played games since the SNES get a PS3 and GET THIS GAME! Hopefully the Second game, promptly named Batman Arkham Asylum 2, looks really good and i cant wait for it!

Runner Up: The Beatles Rock Band

Hand held: Professor Layton 2 (DS)

Ok so this only got game of the year over the Runner up because it has a better stand alone story! The runner up being Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and the “stand alone” story of Professor Layton is a TON better than KH:358/2 Days aka Kingdom Hearts Dumb Name! But story aside this game (Professor Layton) works a HARDCORE Puzzle game and a DAMN good Mystery into one special and great gaming experience! Now comparing this to Professor Layton 1 the puzzles are EASY! But these puzzles in the second game are at a medium difficulty! But still many of the latter puzzles are just easy, but where the puzzles weaken the Story really picks up and the same can be said when the story is weak the puzzles are fun and really brain teasing! So i do recommend a walkthrough for this game!
Runner Up: Kingdom Hearts Dumb name
